About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to grow our client’s Controls business across the Midwest region. You’ll oversee regional sales strategy, manage key accounts and OEM relationships, and provide technical and customer support across a wide array of custom control solutions.
This is a senior-level outside sales role ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge in electrical controls, a proven sales record, and a passion for helping clients implement sustainable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Drive growth in assigned region through strategic sales planning, forecasting, and execution
Promote our client’s custom control panel solutions and OEM capabilities nationally
Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key decision-makers
Represent our client at trade shows and association meetings
Oversee negotiations on contracts and pricing
Identify and pursue leads using market research and regional plan centers
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical degree/experience in controls and sales
Experience & Skills:
4+ years in a technical sales role related to controls or electrical systems
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and industrial controls
Outstanding communication, organization, and customer service skills
Proficient in CRM systems and standard office tools
Must meet our client’s driver eligibility criteria and be willing to travel up to 25% (including multi-day trips)
