Sr Application Engineer
Position: Full-Time
Location: on-site or remote - Preferred location, Albuquerque, NM.

Description
Assist the sales team in the proposal generation and closing process with a specific focus on RO projections and system design to help customers understand and realize the value of the technology. Help develop and update a Value Calculator to use in conjunction with projection programs to validate cost savings.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- • Understanding of customer’s systems, operations, and needs
- • Build a data base of water quality and system configuration to use in CLIIR
- • Develop customer system projections to assist the sales process
- • Build integrated value calculator to better communicate value of the Technology®
- • Write, edit, and review test protocols for customer evaluation
- • Lead the design of new membrane design which optimizes the Technology®
- • Envisioning how different forms of technology could be used by customers
- • Research ways the company's products can be improved
- • Help edit and improve CLIIR on-line projection software for printed spacers
- Travel to critical customers to assist in troubleshooting and new product launches
- Any other ad-hoc duties and projects
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Knowledge of membrane data normalization and projection softwares
- Experience in the design of brackish water and seawater RO systems and retrofits
- Personable and able to work with a team
- A problem-solving attitude with the ability to think outside of the box
- Hands-on operation and troubleshooting of various membrane systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft, CAD, adobe, and other common software
- RO, NF, and UF machine and full system design experience
- Experience building and managing customer relationships
