Aftermarket Sales - Remote - Full Time
Plant Sales and Aftermarket Representative Municipal W/WWtx equipment Northern California Hybrid, 50-70% travel Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential
OUR CLIENT is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual to fill the role of Plant Sales and Aftermarket Representative in their California Operations. In this role, the individual will be responsible for supporting the aftermarket needs of existing customers and driving new business directly with municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities for select mechanical equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:
Travel within the assigned territory to establish and cultivate long-term, influential relationships with key decision-makers at municipalities and water and sewer authorities.
Manage and prepare quotes as needed for aftermarket spare parts inquiries, service requests, and new equipment inquiries for select products (eg, pumps, FRP flow equipment, odor control, etc) for treatment facilities.
Participate in installation, start-up, testing, and training of plant personnel for specific products (training for these products will be provided by manufacturing partners).
Be willing to work off hours for equipment inspections and/or trouble calls if needed.
Develop and maintain a database of contacts and equipment for treatment facilities in the territory. Communicate regularly via routine service reports and periodic business reviews with GSA Office Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related or supportive technical field (engineering, science, sales/marketing, etc.)
Must be able and willing to live within the assigned territory
Must be willing to travel as required depending on territory. Some overnight travel will be required.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Strong follow-through, organization skills, and mechanical aptitude
Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong work ethic and track record of success
Computer skills – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Outside sales experience is a plus
Water and wastewater treatment experience is a plus
