Job Overview
Are you a sales professional with a passion for sustainability and environmental impact? Join THE COMPANY as our Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest USA! Drive the growth of our engineered solutions, focusing on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and water treatment for our sister company. In this role, you’ll build relationships with engineering consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Promotion: Sell and promote THE COMPANY’s products and services to consultants, contractors, and distributors.
  • Market Research: Analyze trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales objectives, forecasts, and strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Promotion & Networking: Organize presentations, regional tradeshows, and installation tours with manager approval.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with corporate sales teams to ensure product specification in projects.
  • Design & Quotations: Provide design, specification, pricing, and timing information for customer requisitions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with engineering and other teams to exceed customer expectations.
  • Reporting: Report on market insights, progress, and activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Pursue ongoing professional development and refine skills.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: University degree in engineering (required).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience, with preference for wastewater industry experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment.
  • CRM: Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (preferred).
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% overnight.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
