Job Overview
Are you a sales professional with a passion for sustainability and making a difference? THE COMPANY is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southwest USA. In this role, you’ll drive the growth of our engineered wastewater and water treatment solutions, building relationships with engineering consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Your efforts will help expand our presence in municipal and industrial markets while promoting our innovative, eco-friendly products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Promotion: Promote and sell THE COMPANY’s wastewater treatment solutions to consultants, contractors, and distributors
  • Market Research: Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to refine sales strategies
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales objectives, forecasts, and growth plans
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Promotion & Networking: Organize presentations, tradeshows, and installation tours (with manager approval)
  • Collaboration: Work with corporate sales teams to ensure alignment on product specifications for projects
  • Design & Quotations: Provide design, pricing, and timing details in response to customer requests
  • Teamwork: Partner with engineering and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on market insights, progress, and sales activities
  • Continuous Improvement: Pursue ongoing development to enhance sales effectiveness and product knowledge

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A university degree in engineering is required
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, preferably within the wastewater industry
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of water/wastewater treatment
  • CRM: Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and mechanical aptitude
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales within the wastewater industry or similar fields
  • Established relationships with engineering consultants, contractors, or distributors in the Southwest USA

  • Remote/On-Site: This is a remote role with a preference for candidates based in the Southwest USA (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, California)
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% overnight
  • Work Hours: Flexible, family-friendly work environment
